and the best thing about the place is...

A really nice place to relax on a weekend, set along a cliff with a view of Taal Volcano is Boun Giorno Cafe & Bistro.
The establishment is located at the Cliffhouse compound along Aguinaldo Highway. The compound is actually riddled with other food places, each one having their own specialty from steaks to desserts. There are parking spaces available but can be a little pricey for an open parking. But seems to be well maintained and with the security guards around, feels a little more safe to park.

You start your meal with a complimentary warm slices of bread, with vinaigrette. I love these things.

The pasta I ordered was just what I was looking for that day. Spaghetti Vongole e Gamberetti was enough to satisfy my craving for pasta.

Pollo E Funghi - the risotto and mushroom was rightly cooked for my appetite. But the chicken was a bit dry.

Again, I am not a big fan of lamb. Although this one doesn't have that strong aroma that usually throws me off. Juicy and tender, I made sure I had my fair share of servings ;-). This comes with buttered veggies and is perfect with  the green minty sauce.

The fruit shakes comes in tall glasses. The picture I took does not give it justice really.

Boun Giorno serves Italian and Filipino breakfast meals, appetizers, salads, soups, pizzas, pastas, risottos, steaks and desserts. Overall the place is cozy, with the option to have your meal inside where the place is air conditioned, or overlooking the cliff with the Tagaytay breeze. This place can be full during weekends and you'll be lucky if you don't have to wait before you get seated.

But the best thing about this place for me is this:
