i was very much mistaken

Angus rib eye - the presentation can be described as simple, uncomplicated, nothing fancy. Yet I think it's clever. It was served in a white platter, tilted towards one side allowing the oil to drip on one end of the plate. And if you think there isn't enough fat on every slice, and there is no real tragedy in your life, you can dip it in that pool of oil. Gives you a little bit of flexibility on how you chose to die - a happy person, or a happier person }:-)>

By the looks of it, I did not expect much..I was very much mistaken. This right here may haunt me for the rest of my life...and I wouldn't mind a bit ;-)

Roast Pork and Chicken - the chicken was a bit dry for me. The pork on the other hand was just perfect! Somehow I get along well with fatty foods the day I visited Mamou. This comes with red or white rice, black beans and slices of plantain sprinkled with what looks like brown sugar and cinnamon. Thumbs up for the pork and the black beans!
